Allegro to roll out MPEG-4 AVC testing tools

Allegro will introduce MPEG-4 AVC certification tools that guarantee an H.264 /AVC video decoder to be compliant with the H.264/AVC standard at IBC2005.

The company created the test packages using its H.264 encoder. The test packages include several proprietary tools that help to reduce debugging time.

The test suites cover all potential H.264 applications, including tests for baseline, main and high profiles, and all potential video resolutions from Level 2 (CIF) to Level 4.1 (high definition).

Each test suite includes Syntax, and Stress and Error Concealment. The tests allow a complete validation of H.264 decoders.

See Allegro at IBC2005 stand 2.315 or visit www.allegrodvt.com.
