Agama introduces version 2.2 of IPTV monitoring solution

Agama Technologies has rolled out version 2.2 of the Agama IPTV monitoring solution.

New functions include integration APIs for conditional access systems, video thumbnails and content analysis that detects error conditions, such as black screen and freeze frame.

Support for monitoring channels with forward error correction (FEC-4) for contribution applications is also new.

The integration APIs for conditional access allows operators to ensure service quality even if the content is encrypted. Objective measurements of delivered quality, reporting functions, such as SLA compliance reports and real-time alarms, all improve service quality.
