Afa announces multistandard mobile TV demodulator

Afa Technologies has released its new 6-in-1 demodulator, the AF9100 series for multistandard mobile digital TV. The company is demonstrating it at this week’s Computex show in Taipei.

The company designed the AF9100 to provide multistandard solutions for both television and audio, including DVB-H, DVB-T, T-DMB, DAB-IP, DAB/DAB+ and FM. It features SDIO, SPI, USB 2.0, I2S and TS interfaces, and can be integrated easily with cell phone baseband applications and multimedia processors. The demodulator’s memory management scheme reduces the channel switching time to less than 20ms and enables multiple parallel services simultaneously, including multiple video and audio programs, alarm, messaging and ESG.
