“Video Ecosystem” presentation to explore MPEG-4 AVC/H.264

At IBC2005, the MPEG Industry Forum (MPEGIF) will put on its “Video Ecosystem” business seminar.

The informational presentation will address the future of the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video and the wealth of technologies that are taking advantage of the highly efficient digital video compression format. The session will explore the distribution of content via IP connections and how IP video will impact the broad availability of programming.

The MPEG Industry Forum also will discuss possible business models and viewing media in the home, office and handheld devices.

The Video Ecosystem presentation is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 12 in Room O at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam.
