HD World 2008: NVision to Show New Routers, MC System
NVision, which said it received a U.S. patent for it first large-scale HD-SD router back in 1989, will unveil several of its latest HD-centric equipment nearly two decades later at HD World 2008 on Oct. 15-16 in New York City (Booth #940).
Its three major broadcast-system entries will include the NV8280 large-matrix digital multiformat router, the NV5100MC multiformat master control system and the NV9000 router control system.
The NV8280 router has a matrix of 288x576 in a single frame and will be the second router released in the firm's series of large-matrix digital routers—some of which offer matrices up to 1152x1152. (The NV8280 router offers the same advanced functionality as the NV8576, but has a smaller footprint).
The newest master control system in the NV5100MC Series, NVision said in a statement, will include increased capabilities for audio/video processing, a field-programmable processor for HD/SD, and a "full-video preview" option.
