For the first time in Europe, SeaChange will demonstrate its Flash Media Library 200, a flash memory-based ingest and play-to-air solution. The company says it's 100 times more reliable and consumes 10 times less power than spinning disk-based counterparts.
Also shown at IBC, the SeaChange Broadcast MediaLibrary/MediaClient (BML/MCL) architecture comprises distinct capabilities. The BML servers store any type of media file, and the flexible SeaChange MCL codecs easily fit with any device in a broadcast operation's workflow and any video output, from SD and HD play-to-air to broadband streams.
The company will also highlight strategic distribution partners and regionally focused integrations with third-party providers of automation, production/editing and archiving solutions.
SeaChange will be at Stand 2.A51.
