KGEB-TV Upgrades With BroadView Software
5/12/2006

KGEB-TV, a religious broadcaster affiliated with Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., is launching into its second decade on-air by upgrading to BroadView Software's integrated traffic and programming package.

"With BroadView, we're finally replacing an older DOS-based system that we have been using for too long," said Bill Lee, director of engineering for KGEB. "It's a definite improvement for us because of its ease of use and how it allows our staff to do their jobs quicker."

Lee said the company began its search for a "proper upgrade" when the software vendor said it would no longer support KGEB's DOS-based system. He said after the search process was narrowed to three vendors, the group selected BroadView.

"This is a much more powerful and flexible system than we were using. It allows us to play with breaks and segments much more effectively so we can focus on making sure that what goes to air is our very best," said the group's Traffic Manager Christi Vanover.   Print Page
