OETA Makes Digital Transition with SignaSys
The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) has tapped SignaSys
to transition the public television network to digital.
SignaSys will upgrade the network's system to include the most up-to-date central automation, multichannel master control, disk-based media and digital asset management as well as digital infrastructure and encoding systems.
As a result of this upgrade, OETA will deliver multiple channels of programming from a fully automated and nearly tape-free facility.
SignaSys has been helping execute technology plans for more than 15 percent of PBS member stations since the start of the DTV transition, according to the company.
