Omneon Video Networks has established Middle East operations.

Harout Torossian has been appointed regional sales manager of the new office in Dubai.

Prior to joining Omneon, Torossian--who has 25 years of experience in international broadcast sales and management--held the same position for the Middle East and Africa when he worked for Scientific-Atlanta, where he worked for seven years, delivering CATV and satellite technologies to broadcast and telecommunications groups.

Torossian is also a former employee of Philips Broadcast Television Systems, where he served as regional manager in the same markets.

Omneon has recent installations at Showtime in Dubai and Riyadh Television.   Print Page
