13 More Stations Sign on With Digital

Thirteen more stations have converted to digital transmission, bringing the national total to 438 stations in 130 markets, according to NAB.

The new DTV stations are:

* KOMU, Columbia, Mo. (NBC)
* KLST San Angelo, Texas (CBS)
* WZZM, Grand Rapids, Mich. (ABC)
* WREX, Rockford, Ill. (NBC)
* WVVA, Bluefield, W.V. (NBC)
* KAME, Reno, Nev. (UPN)
* WABI, Bangor, Maine (CBS)
* WSFJ, Columbus, Ohio (Pax)
* WBIR, Knoxville, Tenn. (NBC)
* WATE, Knoxville, Tenn. (ABC)
* KSBI, Oklahoma City, Okla. (independent)
* WPWR, Chicago (UPN)
* WFSB, Panama City, Fla. (PBS)

The 130 markets with DTV include 87.76 percent of U.S. TV households. Forty-five percent of all the households are in markets with four or more DTV signals.   Print Page
