OmniBus Systems has added native support for the Pinnacle file format to its
iTX automation and production system.
The optional plug-in for iTX adds native handling capability for Pinnacle files within the iTX playout engine, allowing customers with large archives of content on Pinnacle servers to continue to have access to media assets during video server replacement cycles.
"Being a multi-format system, iTX supports a wide variety of file formats and protocols," said Ian Fletcher, CTO OmniBus Systems.
