| SBE Begins E-mail Newsletter |

The Society of Broadcast Engineers has launched a new e-mail newsletter, the SBE-news. It will be distributed twice a month and provides information about the organization’s programs, activities and current events.
“SBE-news gives us an extremely fast and effective means to communicate with our members,” said Barry Thomas, SBE president. “The newsletter offers a way to not only inform our members of national activities but also provides a means that we can all participate and make a difference in our profession.”
SBE has published a print media newsletter, The Signal, for several years. This is mailed to each of the organization’s more than 5,000 members. The e-mail newsletter will be sent to all members with an e-mail address on file at SBE headquarters. Those not receiving it are advised to contact the national office at 317-846-9000, or to visit the SBE Web site, www.sbe.org.
