| OMVC Names Anne Schelle Executive Director |

Anne Schelle, a pioneering leader in the wireless industry, has been named executive director of the Open Mobile Video Coalition (OMVC). In her new role, Schelle will spearhead efforts by the alliance of commercial and public broadcasters to accelerate the development of mobile digital television broadcasting in the United States.
The OMVC is composed of twenty members that own and operate over 450 commercial television stations, as well as the Association of Public Television Stations, which represents an additional 360 public television stations.
Schelle comes to the OMVC from her role as a partner at Actium Advisors, which provides strategic, transactional and operational expertise to clients in the telecom, media and finance sectors. From 1999 to 2007, she was President of Tasman Technologies, a specialized consulting firm providing business and strategic services to telecommunications companies.
In 1998, Schelle co-founded xDSL Networks, a high-speed broadband Internet access company. Previously, she served as vice president for external relations at American Personal Communications, dba Sprint Spectrum, a digital wireless startup, where she helped launch the nation’s first digital cellular network in the Washington-Baltimore market.
Previously, as a leader of Telocator, a wireless trade association, Schelle helped pave the way for the nation’s first auction of spectrum for the digital wireless industry to compete with incumbent analog cellular operators.
