Linear Acoustic has named Erik Booth as its new director of engineering. He will oversee all of the Lancaster, Pa., company’s engineering and new product design.
The new position is a promotion for Booth, as he has been serving as senior hardware engineer for Linear Acoustic.
“Erik has significant experience working with broadcast technologies on a variety of levels, from schematics and circuitry to system-level design,” said Tim Carroll, Linear Acoustic founder and president. “As we continue to develop innovative audio processing products for digital broadcasting, Erik’s leadership and well-rounded experience in audio and video systems engineering will be tremendous assets.”
Booth began his career in control systems and previously worked as a senior hardware engineer for Sigma Electronics. He has been with Linear Acoustic since 2005.
