| Christopher Lane Named to WETA Engineering Slot |

WETA, the PBS station in Arlington, Va., that serves the Capital region, promoted Christopher Lane to the position of the station's vice president of engineering and technology.
Lane has been with the WETA since 1997, and has served as both engineering manager and director of production.
"We are very fortunate to have Chris step up into this new role," said Joseph B. Bruns, WETA executive vice president and chief operating officer. "He is a skilled project manager who is able to work with people from various disciplines, and can translate technical detail into terms that non-technical staff can understand."
Lane's projects at the station include coverage of the 2004 Democratic and Republican national conventions, recording of White House music performances and a high-definition upgrade of WETA's infrastructure.
Prior to joining the WETA organization, Lane was employed by Potomac Television. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia.
