Miranda Technologies announced the promotion of Brian Olson to the job of director of business development for graphics and master control.
Olson will report to Joe LoGrasso, Miranda’s vice president of sales for the United States and Latin America, and will manage a team of graphics and master control product specialists, who support the Americas sales team and re-seller channels.
“With over 25 years of experience in television, post production, graphics and broadcast sales, Brian is ideally suited to support Miranda’s advanced graphics processors and sophisticated workflow tools,” said LoGrasso. “These tools will tie together both our branding, and graphics hardware and software into a seamless workflow. Uniquely in the industry, he can bring together in-house resources spanning hardware, software and creative design services to offer the most complete solutions to clients.”
Olson began his career in 1983 at Omaha’s ABC Affiliate, after graduating in broadcast production with a minor in art from the University of Nebraska. Five years later, he became lead designer at Editech Post Productions, working on national commercials and corporate videos. Later, he later started a freelance video graphics and animation company, and subsequently moved on to product specialist positions at AVI Systems and Pinnacle Systems.
