T-Systems Runs Mobile TV Test in the Netherlands
T-Systems Media&Broadcast has launched a test DMB mobile TV service for provider Mobiele Televisie Nederland in The Hague.

The service will deliver five TV stations to cell phones in the Netherlands. The system has yet to receive a media license in the Netherlands.

"With this model project, we're offering our Dutch partner the opportunity to test drive DMB with selected customers." said Media&Broadcast CEO Helmut Egenbauer.

Mobile TV can be accessed in the greater Hague area and runs on the L band, which is already being used for DMB networks in Germany.
