FCC Report SAT-00589:
- • EchoStar Corp. has requested authority to transfer control of DBS satellite EchoStar 8 to QuetzSat, S. de R.L. De C.V. The satellite operates in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency range. Quetzsat would operate the satellite pursuant to a concession from Mexico for DBS frequencies at 77 degrees West Longitude (WL). EchoStar also requested permission to transfer DBS satellite EchoStar 1 to QuetzSat for operation at the same location under the same concession.

- • The FCC granted Intelsat North America LLC special temporary authority (STA) to continue operating Intelsat 702 at 54.85 degrees East Longitude in accordance with Intelsat 702's existing authorization. The STA is valid for 30 days commencing March 9, 2009.
