Satellite Update — July 23, 2009
From FCC Report SAT-00618:

  • The FCC extended the license term of PanAmSat satellite Intelsat 2 for an additional 28 months, until Dec. 1, 2011. Intelsat 2 is authorized to operate at 169.1 degrees east longitude using frequencies 3700 - 4200 MHz (space-to-Earth); 5925–6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 12250-2750 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 14000-4500 MHz (Earth-to-space).
