Satellite Update—Dec. 12, 2008
In FCC Report SAT-00568, the FCC International Bureau said the records associated with TerreStar Networks' authorization S2633 have been modified to reflect the technical parameters of the satellite to be used in connection with the recently issued earth station authorization E070098.

The TerreStar system has service-link assignments in the 2000-2020 MHz and 2180-2200 MHz frequency bands using the TerreStar 1 (aka CANSAT-24) satellite at 111.0 degrees West Longitude. This Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) system uses part of the spectrum previously allocated for 2 GHz broadcast auxiliary service licenses.
