NEP Taps For-A for NBC Sports Truck
NEP Broadcasting, an international provider of outsourced teleproduction services, has selected more than a dozen For-A DCC-70HS HD color correctors and six UFM-100MV multiviewers for an NBC Sports mobile production truck.

The mobile unit will be used, among other things, for the U.S. Open this month and the upcoming Sunday Night Football schedule on NBC. On occasion it may also be used for Notre Dame home football games in South Bend, Ind., which NBC has carried exclusively for many years.

NBC purchased its new signal processing equipment through NEP for its mobile TV production truck unit, ND-3. All 14 DCC-70HS color correctors and UFM-100MV multiviewers have been installed and are now being road-tested at pre-season NFL games and at various golf events. The DCC-70HS offers 14-bit, 4:4:4 component signal processing circuitry and the ability to control Black, White and Gamma (RGB) levels individually or as a group, For-A said this week.

NEP also recently purchased 16 DCC-70HS color correctors from For-A for MansionPoker.net's production studio at the Mansion Pokerdome in Las Vegas, where Fox Sports Net tapes its poker programs.
