National Geographic to Enter Blu-ray, HD DVD Realms
National Geographic, which has its own HD channels that are being tapped by digital cable and satellite providers globally, will begin offering some of its HD content in both next-gen DVD formats with the release of "Relentless Enemies," a documentary about some of the world's most beautiful and dangerous predators.

The program debuts on standard DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc on March 27, according to High-Def Digest.

National Geographic, with international television and magazine headquarters in Washington, D.C., usually has its DVD content distributed by Warner Home Entertainment.
