MSTV, NAB Extend RFQ Deadline for DTV-to-NTSC Converter
The Association for Maximum Service Television (MSTV) and the NAB extended by one week the due date for responses to their request for quote for a prototype high quality, low cost Terrestrial Digital Converter Box (TDCB). The due date, originally set for July 22, has been extended to July 29, 2005.

In the news release announcing the extension, NAB and MSTV reiterated the desired features for the TDCB and said they hope to have a working prototype by the end of the year. The RDQ can be requested by e-mail. Contact Victor Tawil at MSTV at vtawil@mstv.org or call 202-966-1956.
