FCC Web Site Ranked #2 Federal Government Web site
The fourth annual e-government study of state and federal government Web sites conducted by researchers at Brown University again ranked the FCC's Web site www.fcc.gov number two among sixty federal government web sites surveyed. The top federal web site was firstgov.gov the government-wide web site.

The study said, "The FCC ranked second in this year's federal site e-government survey. The front page boasted distinct categories for audio/visual events, commissioners, general information, and consumer information (including links to numerous services and language options).
