FCC Annual Satellite Forum Details
March 21 is the date of the FCC's second Annual Satellite Forum. As in the first forum last year, the focus will be on the benefits satellites provide. The forum is open to the public and will be held at the FCC' headquarters building in Washington D.C. It starts at 10 AM. Sessions end at 3:30 PM but presenters with their portable satellite devices will remain for an additional hour.

Four sessions will focus on satellites services providing broadband communications to consumers as they move, how satellite communications can be combined with other terrestrial technologies to serve consumers and businesses, satellites' ability to provide instant infrastructure and disaster relief in the developing world, and last, new cutting edge portable consumer devices deployed for satellite communications. .

More information and a detailed agenda is available in the FCC news release < a href="http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DOC-257223A1.pdf">FCC Announces Final Details of 2nd Annual Satellite Forum to be Held March 21.
