Dominican Republic Plans Terrestrial DTV Standards Test
Web site Telesemana.com reported the Dominican Republic will conduct a DTV test the end of this month. The Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel) will broadcast ATSC, DVB-T and ISDB-T terrestrial DTV transmission signals using facilities from the State Corporation for Radio and Television (CERTV). The Institute intends to deploy DTV in the Dominican Republic next year.
