Dielectric expands presence in Brazil through agreement with Trans-Tel
Dielectric Communications and Trans-Tel, a manufacturer of RF products and expert in the design, installation and maintenance of RF systems, signed an agreement under which Dielectric will provide RF antennas and components that complement Trans-Tel’s current portfolio and Trans-Tel will provide pre- and post-sales engineering support and service on these products and act as Dielectric’s exclusive certified technical consultant in Brazil.

Trans-Tel Chief Executive Dante JS Conti said, “This decision was natural and easy to make. It was motivated not only by the emerging business opportunities related to DTV deployment in Brazil, but also by the history behind these two companies, their values, technical expertise, market position and customer recognition.” Trans-Tel representatives will receive intensive training at Dielectric’s headquarters in Raymond, Maine. Dielectric VP and General Manager Garrett VanAtta commented, “We’re proud to enter into this agreement with Trans-Tel to further expand our presence in the Brazilian broadcast market. Trans-Tel is well known and respected for its vast expertise in RF product design and installation, and so we’re confident that we have selected the right partner in carrying our trademark service and quality to new markets.”
