Comment Dates in Returned 2 GHz MSS Frequencies Proceeding Change
The FCC issued two errata affecting comment dates in its proceeding concerning the use of portions of the returned 2 GHz Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) frequencies. One Erratum affecting Public Notice (FCC 05-133) related to IB Docket 05-220, adds a comment due date of July 13, 2005 and a reply comment due date of July 25, 2005. It also modified language describing how comments need to be filed.

Another Erratum affecting Public Notice (FCC 05-134) related to IB Docket 05-221 adds a comment due date of July 29, 2005 and a reply comment due date of Aug. 15, 2005. It too modified the language describing how comments need to be filed.

As described in RF Report for Aug. 2, 2005, SBE has proposed a portion of the returned MSS spectrum be returned to broadcasters to use for low power auxiliary services such as wireless microphones.
