Clixxun Introduces New Indoor DTV Antenna

Clixxun has announced the development of a new antenna for indoor reception of DVB-T signals. According the Clixxun, its "LRR" technology allows reception in regions where an outdoor antenna is usually needed. The announcement stated that the performance of its indoor antenna was comparable to a roof-mounted antenna as large as 2 meters.

Key aspects of the LRR technology include a three-dimensional antenna configuration and an intermodulation and distortion-free low noise amplifier stage. The antenna covers 47 MHz to 862 MHz. The low noise amplifier provides 18 dB gain with a noise figure under 1 dB.

More details, in German, are available in the Clixxun press release Reichweiten-optimierte Aktivantenne fŸr DVB-T. Information for this article was obtained using Google Translate to convert the article into English.
