China Plans DBS Satellite Launch
According to news site Telecom Asia, the Chinese government plans to launch a DBS satellite in August as part of its plan to end analog TV services by 2015.

For more information, see the article "China to launch satellite for digital TV services." It does not discuss technical details about the satellite, such as frequency bands to be used or orbital location.
