CES: Displays on Display
Expect to see HDTV take center stage at CES in Las Vegas this week with a slew of advanced TV display introductions amidst all the personal electronics. CES co-conferences offer sessions for those interested in technologies. One of the sessions at the Enabling Technology Forum is a discussion on the current projection lamp technology situation, plus a review of some of the newer projection lamp source technologies that are appearing, such as xenon, RF-excited, LEDs and lasers. Chris Chinnock-- of advanced display market tracking firm Insight Media--will present at the session.

Interesting papers on CE technologies will be delivered at the IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), which will feature a presentation from longtime TV Technology columnist Charlie Rhodes.

WMUR-TV Says FAA Drone Rules Preclude ENG
