Automotive System Supplier Announces ATSC Mobile DTV Support
Visteon Corp., a leading supplier of automotive entertainment systems, demonstrated how ATSC Mobile DTV could expand the capabilities of its “Family Entertainment System” solutions using a prototype automotive-grade receiver.

"With ATSC Mobile DTV, Visteon is well-positioned by its experience with in-vehicle integration to deliver a solution that will allow consumers to view local and network digital broadcasts when traveling,” said Kyle Walworth, Visteon senior manager for global audio and infotainment architectures.

The Visteon system allows automotive manufacturers to put ATSC-compatible products in a wide range of vehicle types. Screens can be mounted in the headliner, seat backs, or the center console. More information is available in the Visteon news release.
