ATSC Schedules VSB Transmission Seminars in Northern California
The San Francisco section of SMPTE and SBE Chapter 40 are sponsoring an ATSC Digital VSB Transmission Seminar at the KQED-TV Studios in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 23, 2005. These seminars, hosted by Gary Sgrignoli, provide a thorough tutorial on ATSC transmission systems. If you attended one of Gary's seminars several years ago, you may find it worth coming back for a refresher, for updates on ATSC technology, and for a discussion of common problems stations have faced with ATSC transmission. While the seminar is open to the public, enrollment is limited. For more information on the San Francisco seminar, how to register and a list of corporate sponsors, see the KQED Seminar Flyer.

Engineers in the Sacramento area may find it more convenient to attend the seminar planned for the following day, Thursday, March 24, at the KVIE-TV studios in Sacramento, CA. For more information see the KVIE Seminar Flyer.
