Algolith Names New Sales VP

Algolith, the Montreal, Quebec-based provider of video processing equipment, has selected Barry Fairhurst as its vice president of worldwide sales. He will be in charge of the company’s global sales strategy.

"We are delighted to have Barry Fairhurst join Algolith as VP of Sales, said Yvan Ouellet, president and CEO of Algolith. "Barry has an outstanding sales and business track record for over twenty years. Mr. Fairhurst’s business experience as well as keen understanding of the broadcast market will be key assets in bringing Algolith’s business forward."   

Fairhurst previously held positions at Avid Technology and Digital Rapids.

Algorith was founded in 2003 as a spin-off from Miranda Technologies.
