Abu Dhabi Media Corporation sees state-of-the-art IPTV
Pro Technology and Anevia have partnered to deploy a state-of-the-art IPTV solution within Abu Dhabi Media Corporation (ADMC). The system is built around the Flamingo DVB to IP gateway and is part of an upgrade project by ADMC to ensure more reliable IPTV access.

The media organisation has now shifted to IPTV-based broadcasting. The Flamingo gateway from Anevia enables ADMC to transmit encrypted or free to air digital channels available from satellite platforms (DVB-S or DVB-S2), digital terrestrial TV (DVB-T), cable TV (DVB-C) or DVB-ASI over an IP network.

The new system offered ADMC an easy-to-install and cost efficient option, and provides seamless TV channel monitoring and 24/7 access throughout its premises.

Abdul Hadi Al Sheikh, Chief Technology Officer at Abu Dhabi Media Company commented: "We believe that implementing state of art and cutting edge technologies help us in efficiency and effectiveness towards our high quality services and products. The Anevia System will help our News Room and Editorial Team to be up to date watching latest news using IP Protocol Technology."
