ABC Television, Australia Implements Zandar Predator HD MultiViewers
Australian national broadcaster ABC Television has purchased five Predator HD MultiViewers from Zandar Technologies for use in the HD Studio of its facility in Ultimo, New South Wales.

The units were supplied through independent supplier Techtel and were integrated into the HD Studio system by Thomson Grass Valley.

ABC explained they used four Predator HD4s and a Predator HD12 providing them with multiple image monitoring in various parts of the HD Studio control room. All the systems are fed with HD-SDI sources and output to 32-inch LCD panels, providing multiple image monitoring in various parts of the HD Studio control room.

"This is just one example of ABC Television's usage of Zandar units — they've been using the equipment for a few years now", stated Greg Altena, ABC account manager at Techtel. "Zandar is the best-of-breed product that we represent in this area. We're happy with the product and our customers are, too".
