WPTZ to go live with Bitcentral Précis

WPTZ, the Hearst-Argyle Television station serving Burlington, VT, and Plattsburgh, NY, is one of three stations that plans to go live with Bitcentral’s Précis news production system within the next few months.

The others include KHON, the Montecito Broadcast Group station in Honolulu, HI, and KMOV, the Belo station in St. Louis.

The browser-based Précis provides a file-based workflow and will give the stations play-to-air digital news management capabilities.

In June, WKBW, the Granite Broadcasting station in Buffalo, NY, went live with Précis.
