Weigel upgrades with Pro-Bel routing and sync technology


Pro-Bel's Sirius routers offer a mix of AES, SDI, ASI and HDTV signals in a single frame.

Weigel Broadcasting has selected and installed Pro-Bel Sirius router technology for its television stations in Chicago, Milwaukee and South Bend, IN.

Also included in the purchase was a Vaild8 videoand audio sync test tool from Pro-Bel's Vistek range.

The Sirius routeris equipped with 128 x 128 for video (16 x 16 is HD-SDI, 24 x 24 is analog, the rest is SDI) and 128 x 128 for audio (88 x 88 is AES and the remainder is analog).
