Vyvx to expand HD VenueNet

Vyvx has placed an order for additional Path 1 Network Technologies Cx1000 video over IP gateways for the build out of its HD VenueNet service.

The order is the largest that Path 1 has received to date for its Cx1000 products. Vyvx will use Path 1's Cx1000 gateways to transport HD video for sports, news, entertainment and media events at up to 270Mb/s.

Path 1's Cx1000 products are now being deployed to enable broadcasts of major sporting and other live events in many parts of the United States. Venues include the Georgia Dome, Philips Arena and Turner Field in Atlanta; the Pepsi Center and Coors Field in Denver; the Staples Center and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles; Madison Square Garden, Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium in New York; SBC Park in San Francisco; Reliant Stadium in Houston; Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix; and Petco Park in San Diego.
