Vitec names Gepner CEO of Services Division

UK-based Vitec Group has appointed Jerry Gepner to the post of divisional CEO for the Vitec Services Division, the company said Monday.

Having joined the Vitec Group in 2005 as CTO, Gepner has most recently held the position of interim president for Bexel, a key brand of the company’s Services Division. Gepner has more than 20 years of experience in the broadcast engineering and production industries.

According to Vitec Group CEO Stephen Bird, the company’s Services Division can “expect a renewed vision that is focused on technical excellence, creative solutions for our customers and quality of service” under Gepner’s leadership.

Prior to joining Vitec Group, Gepner served as president of National Mobile Television. He also has been executive VP of FOX Sports and was co-founder and COO of Sportvision.
