Viewcast rolls out new analog/digital video capture card

ViewCast is introducing its Osprey-300. The system combines the Osprey video streaming capture cards with the features normally found on a standard IEEE-1394 card.

The result is a digital video (DV) capture card with full DV control capability.

Among the Osprey-300’s features are:

  • OHCI compliant: supports a broad range of popular applications;

  • Optimized streaming time: provides post house with efficient editing system use;

  • IEEE-1394 support: allows users to transfer DV to an editing system in its native format while maintaining quality of original;

  • PCI-X bus interface: provides high-performance/high-bandwidth data transfer.
