Vela to launch Quad broadcast decoder at IBC2003
Vela will introduce its new CineView Quad MPEG decoder during IBC2003. Makers of video compression products for the cable and broadcast industries, Vela's newest PCI-based decoder supports four independent channels of MPEG-1, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 decoded audio and video.
The CineView Quad is suited for use in streaming video, hospitality, analog video servers, kiosks and content distribution, as well a variety of other applications requiring multi-channel playback of MPEG encoded content.
Vela offers a complete range of broadcast-quality SD and HD MPEG-2 board level video encoders and decoders.
