VDS develops YES Network scoreboard bug

The YES Network’s new sports bug features the ability to quickly create and display full 3-D transitions, animated drop-downs and automated sponsor logos.
Video Design Software has created a scoreboard bug system for the YES Network to use during coverage of the New York Yankees and New Jersey NETS games.

Working with the YES Network’s graphics group, VDS designed the scoreboard bug system to be portable, flexible, and easy to configure and operate. It features the ability to quickly create and display full 3-D transitions, animated drop-downs and automated sponsor logos.

The VDS system allows the operator to easily ingest and then select the logo of the network that is broadcasting the game. In addition, the operator can easily apply different font styles and sizes on the scoreboard bug as well as different on/off-air transitions. Sponsor logos and animations can be selected and displayed as the scoreboard bug transitions on and off the screen.
