UK Mobile company selects Calrec console for new production truck

Arena Television, in Surrey, which operates one of the UK’s largest independent mobile production fleets, has installed a Calrec Zeta 100 digital audio console in one of its newest trucks. It’s the first Calrec audio board sold in England.

The console, configured as 40 mono and 16 stereo channels, replaces an analog console as part of a complete refit of Arena’s OB Unit 5. The truck will be used nationwide and has already been booked for the ITV’s Celebrity Fit Club.

The new console complements a 48-channel Calrec C2 analog console in Arena’s larger 16-camera truck, Unit 6.

The purchase by Arena brings the global total of Zeta 100 consoles sold to 11, according to Calrec.
