TVN24 monitors multiple channels with two Miranda Kaleido-X processors

Poland's first 24-hour news station, TVN24, has installed two Miranda Technologies Kaleido-X multi-image display processors for monitoring of all of its channels, including CNBC TVN Biznes and TVN Meteo.

TVN24 has configured one Kaleido-X to display 64 inputs across eight 40in and 57in LCD screens. The other multi-image processor displays 48 inputs over four LCD screens. The station uses the system to display tallies, audio bars, signal loss detection and clocks.

By using the Kaleido-X's on-screen drop-down menus, operators can change aspect ratios, check the safe area, assign inputs and adjust the UMD text to optimize monitor wall space. Each Kaleido-X display output can be controlled independently, using remote panels or on-screen mouse control in the station's master control, ingest and control rooms. The XEdit multiroom layout editor simplifies the sharing and presentation of centralized sources across the rooms.
