THALES ANGENIEUX to focus on new line of lenses at IBC2003

THALES ANGENIEUX will demonstrate its new line of studio and ENG/EFP lenses at IBC2003. Featured products include the company's new series of studio and OB/sports lenses, its new 26X Tele Super Zoom Lens in HD and high-resolution (HR) versions.



THALES ANGENIEUX will introduce an array of new lenses at IBC2003, including its new 26X Tele Super Zoom Lens in HD and high-resolution (HR) versions.

The company will also introduce a digital full servo module for all types of ENG/EFP HR and HD lenses. Built-in focus motor, memories for zoom and focus position, anti breathing and auto cruise are only a short list of the digital possibilities.

The new products are:

A new line of studio and OB/sports lenses features advanced digital features and new external design with an exclusive retractable visor to protect against rain and minimize light interference. It includes the 22 HR, 62 HR, 72 HR, 20 HD, 60 HD and the 70 HD.

The new 26 x 7.8 AIF HD and HR Series Tele Super Zoom Lenses for broadcast news and sports applications will also be on display. With the introduction of the 26x lens, THALES ANGENIEUX now offers a complete line of ENG/EFP lenses including models in the Wide-Super-Zoom, All-Purpose-Zoom and Extreme-Tele-Zoom with the Digital 40x HD & HR Series. In complement, a digital full servo module for all types of ENG/EFP will also be unveiled.

THALES ANGENIEUX will also showcase its Optimo 35mm and HD Lenses, as well as its new Optimo 17-80mm Wide Angle Zoom Lens.
