Texas Rangers to power video boards with new live video production system

Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX, home of the Texas Rangers MLB team, is installing a Broadcast Pix Slate live video production system to broadcast replays during home baseball games on large video monitors in the ballpark. The replays are intended to mimic what viewers experience on broadcast television.

The Slate 2100 integrates multiview monitoring, a CG, a clip store and aspect ratio management, among other features. The Rangers Ballpark production team will use Slate to accommodate cameras, auxiliary source equipment and feeds from four live production trucks.
