Televisión Española to revamp Madrid newsroom workflow

Televisión Española (TVE), Spain's national TV station, is revamping its Madrid newsroom workflow to gain the efficiencies of a file-based IT approach.

An important component of that workflow will be the Harris H-Class digital asset management solution, part of the H-Class content delivery platform, which will allow more than 200 TVE journalist workstations to be networked.

TVE has also acquired the ADC Playout Automation system as well as the Harris H-Class Intelligent Media Mover application. The ADC Playout Automation system will interface with the Avid iNEWS Newsroom Computer System. The ADC Playout Automation system is MOS-compliant, allowing for closer integration with the newsroom computer and other devices.
