TANDBERG Television adds content security for TV over IP

TANDBERG Television has added new content security options —including conditional access and authentication — to its iTTV delivery platform, allowing its customers to demonstrate a secure network to content owners in order to attract high-value programming such as movies and sports.

The manufacturer had already integrated its TV over IP delivery platform with conditional access solutions from Conax, Latens and Widevine. Now, it will integrate the iTTV system with VideoGuard and NDS.

TANDBERG Television creates products and systems for the delivery of live video and on-demand content across cable, DSL, fiber, IP, satellite and terrestrial networks.
