TAMUZ unveils HiDef Screen

TAMUZ enters the high definition market with the HCM 124W HD, a 24-inch wide-screen HDTV-native-resolution monitor for HDSDI signals.

Intended for desktop or portable use, the monitor combines the newly developed Falcon interface (HDSDI inputs only) with a 24-inch W-UXGA TFT panel from Samsung.

The HCM 124W HD screen is a 1920-by-1080 pixel aspect-ratio-corrected panel with impressive brightness and contrast ratio. The monitor’s response time is fast enough for video. It also offers a viewing angle wider than 170 degrees in horizontal and vertical. Two inputs for HDSDI are selectable. They accept most HD formats from 1080@60i up to 24p.

See TAMUZ at IBC2003 in Stand 8.180 or visit www.tamuz.tv.
